Jazz and Swing have returned to the UK music scene in a big way over the past few years. And in the orphans Dewson Entertainments have one of the best outfits around. The orphans may be cooler and more sophisticated than the others, but they have the same objective as all our bands - make sure everyone enjoys themselves and walks away smiling. It's the Dewson Entertainments philosophy. Playing jazz standards, and more modern pieces in a swing style, the orphans' repertoire is vast. You'll find a list on our website. But it would be impossible to list all the songs they know, so if you have alternative numbers in mind, tell us. We're happy to work with you, to tailor the playlist and the band setup to your requirements wherever possible. The orphans have played everything from large corporate functions to small, intimate gigs. They work to the same core values as all Dewson Entertainments' bands - quality and professionalism. So whatever size of venue they are playing, you'll get the very best entertainment - at a very reasonable price. The standard quotation is for a four piece band, but the orphans can be anything from a simple jazz duo right up to a full eight piece line up of male and female vocals, piano, guitar, saxophone, trumpet, bass and drums.
