International Events
Organising an event outside of the UK can be a bit of a headache. So let us take some of the strain. We've performed everywhere from Muscat to Monte Carlo. So we know how to make sure everything runs smoothly, and all your guests have a great time.
We can make all the travel arrangements, organise accommodation, locate local suppliers for tricky-to-transport kit and liaise directly with your venue. So all you need to do is polish up your dancing shoes! We've played at parties for 24 people, at massive open-air amphitheatres, and everything else in between. We've got native speakers of at least seven different languages on our team, so we can usually communicate pretty well with everyone. And remember, you almost certainly won't have to pay VAT on an event that takes place outside the UK, which will help to keep the costs down.

The Crystal Ball, Al Midan Amphitheatre, Oman
In November 2010 we performed at the Crystal Ball in Muscat, Oman, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the reign of The Sultan. It was an incredibly glitzy and glamourous event, attended by the great and the good of Oman. The organisers transformed the huge open-air Al Midan Amphitheatre into a scene from Arabian Nights, complete with camels and a Shisha Tent. And raffle prizes on the night included a Jaguar XJ, a Range Rover Sport and an evening with Bryan Adams!
Wedding of Lucy and John, Chateau de Clerbise, Bordeaux, France
Lucy's family are rapidly becoming old friends. We've played at the weddings of both of her sisters - Jenna in July 2008 and Charlotte in June 2010. So we were delighted to be asked to play at Lucy's wedding at the fabulous Chateau de Clerbise in Bordeaux in August 2010.
The chateau's antiquated electrical system did create some challenges though. We had to transport about half a mile of industrial grade cable from London to Bordeaux, and wire the sound and light equipment directly to the main fuse board. But we like to think that's all part of the Dewson Entertainments attention to detail.
Hotel de Paris, Monte Carlo, Monaco
The Hotel de Paris has played host to some of the biggest stars in show business. So we were very proud to add out name to the list of people who've performed there. On the night we rubbed shoulders with the rich and famous (sorry, we're not allowed to mention any names) in this most glamourous of venues.
Stockholm, Sweden
This event at the Hasselbacken Hotel presented a unique set of challenges, not the least of which was learning a whole new set of Scandinavian songs. Our extensive A-ha repertoire went down very well, and we popped in one or two Abba tunes for good measure. Fortunately we didn't have to stoop to playing Barbie Girl by Aqua!
Villa Aurelia, Rome, Italy
Somehow we managed to pick the rainiest weekend of the year for our trip to Rome. But this didn't spoil the evening one little bit. The Villa rocked like it's never rocked before. And given that it's been standing since 1599 we think that's quite an achievement.
